So get ready to warm your souls around the crackling fire with mugs full of this delicious healthy Spicy Apple Mousse with Almonds. To prepare a perfect portion for two people all you need is:
3 or 4 apples (cut into small cubes)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of cardamon
1/2 teaspoon of clove powder
handful of almonds
1/2 glass of water
slice of ginger (optional)
Cubes of apple, water and all the spices add to a small pot or saucepan on the stove. Bring to a boil over a small or medium high heat. Add water if necessary. If apples are hard and not squishy, you can crush them with a fork.
Divide the portion between two mugs or jars, add almonds and pomegranate seeds.
Notice: if you're lacking in camping cooking gear, you can easily use aluminium foil and place it on the grill.
