Burj Khalifa is surrounded by Burj Park, which offers visitors a perfect view of the building, as well as the Dubai Fountains show. Besides that, it is green, it’s nature and it’s charming in its modern way. The park, especially the area closest to the fountains, gets extremely crowded over weekends, so plan ahead and try to visit it during a week. Burj Park holds a few events and festivals throughout the year and it’s just a walk away from another gem of the area - Dubai Opera.
Another attraction not to be missed. And we mean it. This extravagant show has been ranked number one in the world for being the largest choreographed fountains. You can enjoy the show everyday from 6 pm.
The fountains are located just outside Dubai Mall, next to the bridge that leads to Souk Al Bahar - another mall, inspired by traditional Arabic market.
Designed by Danish architect, Janus Rostock, the iconic show-shaped building is one of the newer additions to the neighborhood. Enhanced in 2016 it quickly became the cultural and artistic soul of Downtown Dubai. The 2,000-seat venue hosts a range of concerts, theatre shows, comedy acts and family entertainment throughout the year. Opera also organizes tours where visitors can explore the architecture, as well as the backstage and hidden life of the Dubai Opera.
